Many property managers and landlords do not understand the risk and extreme hassle of title theft. It is a rapidly growing crime. More commonly, the scammer will transfer the title into someone’s name using a fake deed, along with a crooked or fake notary. This deed gets recorded so, as far as the world knows, the house belongs to someone else. We have compiled a list of all counties in Florida to make it easy for you to register. Sign up with the county for the FREE service which will notify you or your property owner depending on how it is set up when something occurs impacting the property.

Robert Carroll has served as Executive Director of the North Central Florida Apartment Association for the past 16 years.
