We are proud to announce that our Industry Leader this month is the Executive Vice President of the Florida Apartment Association, the undisputed guiding force in the multifamily housing industry. Mr. Tatum's 25+ year career has included roles including property management, local and state government affairs, and executive roles for both the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando and the Florida Apartment Association. He has indeed propelled the Florida Apartment Association into the future.
Chip Tatum serves as executive vice president of the Florida Apartment Association (FAA). Chip leads a talented association staff and volunteer industry leaders and works collaboratively with nine locally affiliated associations.
His responsibilities include oversight of an $8 million annual budget, public policy, research, and the best-in-class annual conference "Inspire." Chip is passionate about the impact associations make when they address kitchen table issues like housing opportunity and attainability.
A Career Built on Service to the Industry
Mr. Tatum's 25+ year career has included property management, local and state government affairs, and executive roles for two trade associations. Chip is a graduate of Rollins College and holds the Certified Association Executive credential from the American Society of Association Executives.
Community Service & Recognition
He served for 7 years on the Valencia College Foundation Board of Directors and currently serves on the National Apartment Association Services Board. In 2018, Chip was inducted to the FAA Hall of Fame, a great and well deserved honor reserved for the best of the best.
